Wonderfully done

This was a wonderful animation. Animated to it's fullest. Very nice job. The graphics were splendid. The stars and moon looked very realistic and were drawn magnificent. The characters, or clocks, should I say, were animated and drawn percectly. I didn't find a flaw in any one of them. The message this animation tries to convey is very clear and fluid and was portrayed throughout this movie very well. The sequence of the movie was undoubtly flawless, meaning it went smoothly without an akward scene or a scene that didn't correspond to the movie as a whole. The music fitted the animation very well and was in sync with what was happening in the movie. I am glad you decided to make this movie with this message because people who at least have families should be grateful they have them where in the contrary people who have lost them or don't have them anymore are suffering and wish they had them. I hope this animation makes some people open their eyes and love their families and be grateful they have them. Very touching, and keep up the great work.

Summary Points: Wonderful graphics, Wonderful Style, Excellent Fitting music, Very nice message, Touching, Excellent animation.

Thanks much. I wish more people took as much time as you to think about their review.

Merry Christmas

This wasn't very good...

It needs a lot of improvements and work. Some of the graphics were horrible. The Santa figure, the presents, the sack, a person's face, these were all horribly drawn. The only decent drawings were the faces of the two guys. But that's about it. I didn't find this to be funny or amusing in any way either. You need to work on your jokes and on your plots or storylines. The voices overs were pretty bad as well. Some of the voices I couldn't even understand. The voices that were quite impossible to understand were that of Santa's but the rest were quite audible. Your animation also lacked music. It would have been great if you would have included at least a Christmas theme or something related to Christmas. The only Christams related subjects or objects I found was the Santa and presents, and that's about it. Next time, work more on the graphics, work on the voice overs, try to include better sound effects and at least find suitable music for the Christmas theme of the movie, work on the storyline and jokes, and make it a little bit more longer. Do all of this stuff, and your submissions will be much better off. Good luck on your future submissions.

Summary Points: Bad Graphics, Unoriginal jokes and plot, horrible sound effects and not very good voice overs, a little bit short.

Not Bad!

This wasn't bad at all! But that doesn't mean there isn't room for improvements. First of all, I really liked the style of the characters. They looked to me, very original and well thought out. The llama thing was also very well drawn. The style is related with the graphics. I found this to be quite original and unique. The music you made went quite well with the animation and sounded well without any flaws. The only problem there was with this animation were two things. First, it was too short. You could have made it much more longer. Second, it ended too abruptly and the music kept playing. With that, I docked you off some points because you could have easily cutted it off and ended it once the animation stopped. But the music kept going and that really wasn't very good. Overall, nice job with the graphics, keep up the good work with those, and good luck on your future submissions.

Summary Points: Great Graphics, Awesome Style, Good Music, Ended abruptly, too short, very nicely animated.

Nice First Submission

This was great for it being your first submission. But, indeed, it needs a little bit more work. The graphics need more work. The trees looked fine but the building look horrible. You should put more detail to it, instead of it being a large rectangle. Also, it wouldn't be a very good choice to put "The Building" because it is obvious that it is a building. Inside the building, there was also a lack of detail. You could have made signs in the walls or doors or anything that would add more detail. The style was good because I liked how the character had a useful gun and had different weapons and uses. Good job on that. The sound was good as well. Great fighting sounds and crystal clear gun sounds and explosions. Good job on picking out the sounds. The only two flaws I found in the sound category were the following. One, the step sound got quite annoying after a while. It might be a good choice to leave that sound out. Two, there wasn't music. On your next edition, try to add music. This animation had plenty violence and was very well animated, but the blood wasn't drawn to well. When drawing the blood, try to draw it in one direction only, because I noticed you drew the blood going vertically and horizontally as well. Keep that in mind when you do the second one. Other than that, nice job on the violence. Overall, on your next submission, try working more on your graphics, include music, draw the blood in one direction only, and it make it more longer. If you do all these stuff, your next installment will be much better. Good on your next submission.

Summary Points: So-so graphics, Nice Style, Crystal clear sound, but annoying footstep sounds, Great violence but blood drawn not very well, ok on length of movie, Nice Frame by frame skills used to animate the stick's movements.

Very Nice FBF Skills

This was a great animation demonstrating your Frame by Frame skills. It went by smoothly and was in sync with the music. The reason why the score for the graphics is so low because there really weren't any graphics to critcize. There wasn't a background to judge and there weren't any objects or charcters to criticize how you colored or shaded them and such. The style was great becaue the objects involved in the animation transformed into others really smoothly and really didn't show any flaws. Although there have been many attempts at a Frame by Frame animation, this is still original for me. The music was a great choice because it suited the animtion well. There really weren't any sound effects, (And it was good decision to not include them) because it would have interfered with the animation and the music. Another thing that you don't have to necessarily improve on, but would be great to include would be to make it a bit longer. Other than that, very nice job, keep up the great work, and good luck on your future submissions.

Summary Points: No graphics to judge, Great style, nice music, very nice decision in not including sound effects, very great Frame by frame skills, ok on length of movie.

Nice Job for your first Flash

This was nice for your first flash. But there is a lot of room for improvement. The main character was drawn alright, but you could have added more detail to him. Shading him was a nice idea, hencing the fact he looked more realistic. A great feature you included was the shadow that the main character had. It made the animation look more realistic and more imaginative. As you said in your comments, this animation revolves around a plot that is quite weird but at the same time interesting. I would like to see more of what happens to this character and why the tree dissappears as it apparently did. The music suited the animation very well. It went with the flow of the movie and was a great choice. But there was a lack of sound effects. To have further enhance the movie's detail, you could have added "step sounds" for the character as he walked along the grass. Look for a grass step sound and put it everytime he walks. There is also a flaw that I noticed, but is coherent because of the reason this is your first flash. The main character's walking cycle was a bit awkard and you need to work on it a little bit more. If the main character is a baby, then I suggest leaving it as it is because that is technically the way babies walk, but if the character is a grown child, then I suggest making him walk more coherently to that of a little kid. Another thing to improve on is the background. Next time, try to draw the background yourself because the animation looks a little crummy with the pixelated background. Overall, not bad for your first flash and keep practicing, because practice makes perfect. Hope to see a second part to this, and good luck on your future submissions.

Summary Points: Below average graphics, average style, great suitable music but there was a lack of sound, pixelated background doesn't look well, nice, weird and interesting plot.

The-Confuzzled responds:

Well I actually drew each background by myself. But thanks for the review, all criticisms help.

A Nice Short Animation

It was short indeed. And there is also room for improvement. The graphics were nicely drawn and shaded. You did a good job on those. The style was nice as well. I found this to be quite orignial hencing the fact that I have never seen anything like this before. The mood of the animation was dark and depressing, exactly what a weird animation should include. I understand this was made in four hours, but there is lack of storytelling. What I mean by storytelling, I am not saying a narrator literally telling the story, but some pictures that convey what has happened and why it happened. Causes leading to that event, in other words. The music fitted the animation great and it was a perfect choice for this animation, but there was a lack of sound effects. I believe if you would have added some sound effects, it would have greatly enhanced the movie's creepiness. Overall, good job and good luck on your future submissions.

Summary Points: Good Graphics, Good Style, Great fitting music, but there was a lack of sound effects, Very nicely done to be made in four hours.

Morgan responds:

I based a lot of the style on David Firth or "Doki".
The sound effects i dont think would have worked tough. Not that i put sfx effects into every movie i make but i dont think it would have suited as the movie went very fast from one cut to the next so it would have been a soundeffect every second.
Anyway, good review.

Wonderful Job

Nicely done! This was greatly animated and narrated. The graphics could need a little, just a little bit more work. For example, Santa looked a bit jaggedy but otherwise he was drawn well. The graphics aren't bad at all, (Hence the graphic's score) but they just need a little bit more work, that is all. The storyline/Plot was great as well. Never heard of the idea of the Easter Bunny being in need of help of Santa, so therefore I proclaim this to be original. Good job on coming up with the story for this animation. The narrator's voice suited the animation well and portrayed the mood of the movie well. Overall, this was greatly done and keep up the awesome work.

Summary Points: Nice Graphics, Great Style, Grea Voice acting, Very nice concept and storyline.

Great Job!

This was animated very nicely. The graphics were great. The characters were drawn very nicely but they would look better if they were to be shaded. The style was awesome as well. I found this submission to be very original and unique. Great job on the style of the characters and such. What really appealed to me the most were the voices. The voices suited the characters very well and were unique. I have never heard these kind of voices before, making them unique and original. The blinking and movements of the characters were animated nicely and there weren't any flaws. Very nice job, and keep up the great work.

Summary Points: Great Graphics, Awesome style, Refreshing and unique voices and music, average humor, very nicely animated.

Nice one...

This was an ok submission. The graphics were average, hencing the fact that there were some parts where you colored sloppy. One example would be the wall. The overall joke was a bit dry. You should have made the little kid at least move it's arms or laugh an evil laugh to make it more dramatic or interesting. The voice acting was not to good nor too bad. It was alright. One major flaw to this animation was the lack of animation. The only object or projectile that moved the most were the mouths but that was about it. Next time, try making the characters move more so that they seem more appealing and interesting. As well have some kind of expression on their faces when they experience some kind of change. Overall, this was not bad but I believe you can do better. Good luck on your future submissions.

Summary Points: Ok graphics, Ok theme, average voice acting and nice music, lack of moving objects, or animation.
